Is waterproof mascara worse for you eyelashes than the regular kind

I was just wondering if waterproof damages/dehydrates your lashes more than reg. mascara, because as a girl of asian descent blessed with full lashes, I gotta keep my lashes in check! lol As much as I love mascara, I cannot try waterproof for fear of pulling out my lashes and watching them turn dry and brittle. :/

Yes, in a way it is bad. Use waterproof mascara only when you really need it, other than use, stick to the regular one. I do liek waterproof mascara more because it dries faster and since it makes eyelashes more hard, my lashes can hold up longer throught the whole day. So, do use it only on days that you shed them tears or go for a swim! You can only rid the mascara with an make up eye remover. =)Is waterproof mascara worse for you eyelashes than the regular kind
the only thing that makes it more inconvenient for daily use is that it's waterproof, thus making it WAY harder to remove when you are removing your makeup at the end of the day. Which can lead to a lot of lashes being pulled out or falling out. Just use a regular mascara. There are some mascara's though that are hard to remove even if they aren't water proof. So you can always buy one that you think sounds promising, and if you find it is hard to remove or flakes or you just dislike it, bring it back to the place you bought it for a refund. At least that is what we are allowed to do at the Canadian drug stores that sell makeup, because if you can't test it out and you buy something and it messes your skin up, why wouldn't they let you bring it back?
YES they get dry and start to come of alot them they loose their natural color and look all faded [ dont use it to much ]
Yes, I found that out the hard way.


Try not to use it everyday.


It's also a lot harder to remove.
