How long does mascara last before it dries out?

You should never keep mascara longer than two months, because it can become a breeding ground for infectious bacteria.





I made this mistake and got a weird stye-like infection in the inner, lower lid of my eye that lasted four weeks before I finally went to a doctor who had to pop it! So gross!

well, it probably last a lot longer than i have ever kept it. but for health reasons you should get a new one every three months. bacteria grows on the wand and is transfered into the tube from your eyes. if you have it too long you will get a sty or worse.How long does mascara last before it dries out?
Not so sure about when it dries out, each is different but you are supposed to replace your mascara every 3months =) Obviously for health and bacteria reasons.
your supposed to throw your mascara away after 6 months.
I was a beuty tech for about 6 months, and the ammount that mascara last is about 5-6 months.
like 3 months I think.....it should say on your bottle it will say a number and then an M next to it and that means how many Months it will last for
it depends but you should really get a new one every moth because of how much bacteria gets on it!!!!!!!
I think it depends. I've had some last 2 years (don't ask), others a couple months
