uhm, how?Is it better to close your eyes when applying mascara?
nah that wont work to well! heres some steps for you...





always do the bottom lashes first, look into a mirror and tilt your head down and lightly apply to bottom lashes.





wait a few seconds then, tilt your head back and apply to top lashes, with your head tilted back you wont have problems getting the mascara on your eyelids or eyebrows.





i also find what helps nicely is that instead of running the brush straight throw my lashes i kind of move it back and fourth while moving it up! good luckIs it better to close your eyes when applying mascara?
You're still applying the same mascara and the same amount. Probably just a cheap trick to ';curl the lashes';. I doubt it makes a significant different. If you're looking to curl lashes (which is probably why people are saying to close your eyes when applying it) invest in a heated curler.
Actually, the best way to apply mascara (for me) is like this:


Apply it with your eyes open, and as you bring the wand up from the base of your lashes, slowly blink. It makes your lashes seem fuller and longer!
