It kind of defeats the purpose. If the top coat gets wet, it will run. It would be better to find a waterproof mascara that fits all your needs.
But there are no adverse health effects, if that's what you're concerned about. Is it okay to put waterproof mascara on for the first coat and then put non waterproof mascara for the second?
i LOVE waterproof mascara. I used to use it daily after i curl my lashes because waterproof mascara has more wax in it and hold the curl better. Unfortunately, it tough on your lashes and even after dousing my lashes in makeup remover theres some left. and i noticed lashes falling outIs it okay to put waterproof mascara on for the first coat and then put non waterproof mascara for the second?
i would put it the other way around!
hope i helped
